Jack Hall serves as the Founding Executive Director of Kingsminster. Jack’s understanding of and affinity for independent K–12 schools are grounded in a lifetime of experience in the space — first as a boarding school student, then as a teacher, coach, administrator, head of school, and trustee.
Throughout his career, Jack has led independent schools through major initiatives. He previously served as Head of School at The Walker School from 2011–2022, where he led the school’s largest capital campaign and helped establish the New Avenues Immersive Dyslexia Program. Prior to Walker, he served for twelve years as Head of School at Augusta Preparatory Day School and spent more than a decade as a teacher, coach, and administrator at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta.
In addition to his school leadership experience, Jack has served independent schools through governance and leadership development work. He served as Board Chair and Chair of the Head of School Search Committee at The Stony Brook School and currently partners with independent schools nationwide through CarterBaldwin Executive Search.
Jack holds a B.A. in Theatre from Davidson College, an M.S. in Athletic Administration from Georgia State University, and an M.A. in Education Administration from Columbia University Teachers College, where he was named a Klingenstein Fellow.
Jack and his wife Cathy have been married 40 years and have two children and three grandchildren.
Jess Harvey serves as the Founding Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement at Kingsminster Ponte Vedra. Jess brings a passion for education, a heart for families, and a conviction that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships and a shared commitment to helping every child flourish.
Throughout her career, Jess has led campuses serving hundreds of students, gaining firsthand experience in building school communities where students are known, supported, and challenged to grow. Her approach to leadership is grounded in the conviction that education is about more than programs or facilities; it is about excellent teachers, strong partnerships with families, and creating a culture where each child is valued.
As Kingsminster’s Founding Director of Enrollment & Community Engagement, Jess will play a central role in building the Kingsminster community from the ground up. She will work alongside Founding Executive Director Jack Hall to welcome prospective families, share the vision of Kingsminster, and guide parents as they discern whether Kingsminster is the right school for their children.
For Jess, joining Kingsminster brings together two important callings in her life: her Christian faith and her passion for education. As both an educator and a mother, she understands personally the questions families ask when choosing a school and believes deeply in Kingsminster’s commitment to academic excellence and the formation of the whole child.
Jess attended Kent State University, where she was a student-athlete. She and her husband, Darren “DJ” Harvey II, have three children.
